Jaundice- Causes, symptoms and Treatments
The word Jaundice is used to describe the Yellow color of skin and the white part of the eye. The body fluid can also be yellow. According to a study, about 60 percent of all the babies born in the United States (USA) are the victims of Jaundice. Jaundice usually shows a problem with the liver or bile duct. Jaundice is also known as Piliya(पीलिया).
Causes of Jaundice
Causes of Jaundice in Children:- Hepatitis (Liver infection), Excess amount of Bilirubin in Blood and another cause of jaundice is when your liver doesn’t metabolize Bilirubin the way it’s supposed to.
Causes of Jaundice in Adult:- If bilirubin levels are high, substances formed when bile is broken down may accumulate, causing itching all over the body
